The Master's Screen

The first semester of Maffe’s USC Master’s studies yielded nearly an hour of diverse new music. A selection of these pieces, including both live recordings and meticulous ‘mockups’ has been made available exclusively on this website.

“USC’s program has allowed me to hone my voice in the traditional symphony orchestra, and has also pushed me to expand my sonic palate in electronics all while working under tight deadlines and thorough criticisms from professors,” Maffe says, “It’s an ideal situation for a composer, and a privilege that might not be as readily available outside of an academic setting. To be here, I feel very blessed.”
